Danie Marais was born in Pretoria, South Africa, in 1978 and grew up mostly in Namibia. He now resides in Bloemfontein, where he studied art at the Central University of Technology.

Danie is a full time artist, and his work is on display at several galleries throughout South Africa and Namibia. He has had several group as well as solo exhibitions. His next Solo is soon to be announced.
