CARLA BOSCH was born in Pretoria in 1976, matriculated at the Overkruin High School and went on to do interior decorating at the Pretoria Technikon.

Although she is a self-taught artist, Carla gets a lot of encouragement and guidance from her father, the artist Anton Gericke. Her favourite subject matter are landscapes and street- and nautical scenes done in bold acrylic colours. Though Carla is still a young artist, she has exibited with many established South African artists and is well represented in many corporate and private collections, both nationally and internationally.
